Nutrition Assistance Program for Seniors (NAPS)

Commodity Supplemental Foods Program (CSFP) is a United States Department of Agriculture nutrition program designed to provide healthy food each month at no cost to low-income seniors 60 years of age and over.  NAPS is the name of CSFP in Minnesota.  We are a satellite distribution center for this program. Program participants are given a highly nutritious food package, depending on their nutritional needs as determined by the USDA. The packages may include:

  • Canned fruits
  • Vegetables and juices
  • Dry and UHT milk
  • American cheese
  • Canned meat
  • Peanut butter or dried beans
  • Cereal, rice or pasta

Holiday Gift Program

This program provides seniors (59 +) experiencing hardship with gifts during the holiday season.

Registration: will open October 2017

Holiday Gift pick-up: December 2017 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 16515 Luther Way in Eden Prairie.

SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access and Recovery (SOAR)

SOAR is designed to increase access to the disability income benefit programs administered by the Social Security Administration.  One of our case managers is trained to help people through the application process.  She can help with filling out and completing the application materials and by providing support through an appeals process.
